FERNGROVE HOLIDAY LETS BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Booking.

After we have received your booking dates by telephone or e-mail we will send your booking confirmation to your e-mail address.

When you receive your confirmation please check the details of your arrival and departure dates, and number of guest/pets. If the details are correct we ask that you then forward us the deposit amount of £50 to secure your booking.

 

Cancellation.

We hope that you do not have to cancel your booking, but in the event that it becomes necessary we regret that we will not be able to refund your deposit. For cancellations up to 7 days before your arrival we will refund the full amount paid by you, less the £50 booking deposit.

Arrival/Departure.

Check in Time is after 3pm.

Departure time is before 10am so that we have ample time to service the cottage for the next arrivals.

Luggage drop of is available by prior arrangement, if you would like earlier check -in or later departure please have a chat with us, we will try to oblige if possible.

Additional Expenses.

The cost of Gas, Electricity, Water and cleaning are included in the rental price. Please be considerate with the usage of these utilities, this enables us to keep our costs to you at an affordable level !

Linen and Towels.

Bedding, Towels and Tea Towels are all provided. All linens are laundered and hand finished on site. Please do not take the towels etc to the beach.

Noise.

Please respect other guests at the property. we live in a quiet area. Complaints regarding normal activities will not be considered, ie. animals, local activities, traffic, church bells, farm machinery.

Smoking

We operate a NO SMOKING policy in all indoor areas at Ferngrove. Smoke Detectors/Alarms are fitted in all areas. We do not allow the burning of candles at the property for Fire Safety reasons.

Animals.

Dogs are permitted by prior arrangement in KIRK VIEW only, which has a large secure garden. We do not allow puppies. There is a charge of £15 per booking for your pet. We provide dog towels, bowls and throws for the furniture, dogs are not permitted to sleep on the beds. Any damage caused by your pet to the property/fixtures and fittings must be paid for before departure.

Loss of Service/Power Cuts

During adverse weather conditions and because we live in a rural area, we could on occasion, experience loss of power or internet connection. These would be circumstances beyond our control, we would therefore not be able to offer a refund or compensation. However, we would strive to make sure that your stay is as comfortable as possible. We do not experience these events often, when we do they are usually for a very short period of time !

Damages.

We understand that accidents can happen, in that unfortunate event we will work with you fairly to come to a mutual resolution.

Please inform us if you have a mishap during your stay with us.

Lost keys will incur a cost of £25 to cover lock replacement.

Holiday Insurance.

Please ensure that you have adequate Insurance in place for your holiday. We cannot be responsible for personal loss, damage or injury during your stay.

Car Parking.

We have our own large off road Car Park. Cars are left at owners risk.

PAYMENT OF YOUR DEPOSIT WILL BE DEEMED AS CONFIRMATION THAT YOU AGREE TO OUR BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
